The Quant Sync app

The Quant Sync app is a private tool. Its only user is the owner of the Quant Sync YouTube channel. The app uses the YouTube Data API to upload videos to that one channel and to set each video's title, description, and thumbnail. We do not offer the app to the public, and no one else can sign in to it.

What Google data the Quant Sync app uses

When the channel owner signs in with Google, the app asks for permission to upload videos to the owner's YouTube channel. It requests this scope and no other Google scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload

The app uses that permission only to do the following on the owner's own channel:

• upload a video file,
• set the video's title and description,
• upload the video's thumbnail.

The app does not read or collect viewer data, comments, subscriber lists, email, contacts, files, or any other Google account data.

How tokens are stored

After sign-in, Google gives the Quant Sync app an access token and a refresh token. These tokens are stored only on the channel owner's own device. We run no server that receives or stores them, and we do not share them with anyone. The app sends them only to Google, over HTTPS, when it calls the YouTube Data API.

How we use and share Google data

We use Google user data only to publish videos that the channel owner chose to publish. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No person other than the channel owner has access to it.

The Quant Sync app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

The Quant Sync app uses YouTube API Services. Anyone who uses it agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy explains how Google handles data.

How long we keep data

The tokens stay on the channel owner's own device until the owner revokes access, signs out, or deletes them. Deleting them removes all Google data that the Quant Sync app holds. Videos that the app uploaded stay on YouTube under the channel's own settings until the owner changes or deletes them on YouTube.

How to revoke access

You can remove the Quant Sync app's access to a Google account at any time:

• Open your Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Select Quant Sync.
• Choose the option to remove its access.

Google then stops accepting the app's tokens. The owner can also delete the stored tokens.

This website

quantsync.app is a static website. It sets no cookies and shows no ads. It has no sign-in and no forms.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is privacy-first. It uses no cookies and no personal identifiers, and we see only aggregate numbers, such as page views, referring sites, and totals by country or device.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.

Children

Quant Sync is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
